Join any Minecraft server from your PlayStation or Xbox.
Consoles can't type in a server address. CouchPortal makes the server you choose show up on your console, so you can just tap it and play.
How it works
Your phone and your console need to be on the same home Wi‑Fi. That's the only setup.
- Open CouchPortal and pick a server.Type an address once, or choose one you've saved. The app checks that the server is actually up before going any further.
- Watch one short ad break.About half a minute, and sometimes two short videos back to back. That's the whole price of the free version. If you've bought Remove ads, there's no ad.
- On your console, open Minecraft and go to Friends.The server appears in the list of LAN games. Give it up to a minute.
- Tap it. You're in.Your console connects straight to the server. The phone hands off and drops out; it doesn't relay your game.
Why the phone drops out. When your console taps the server, it briefly talks to the phone, which sends it a single "go here instead" instruction pointing at the real server. From then on the console is connected directly. Nothing about your game passes through the phone, and there's no lag from it.
Which consoles
PlayStation 5Works. This is the console the app was built and tested on.
XboxWorks. Same steps as PlayStation.
Nintendo SwitchDoes not work. The Switch version of Minecraft has no LAN games list at all, so there is nothing for the server to appear in. No app can change that.

What it doesn't do
- No account, no sign-in. Open the app and use it.
- No tracking of what you play. The app never sees your game. It has no analytics and no crash reporter.
- No relay. Your game traffic goes straight between console and server, never through the phone.
